Founder, Director
Julian (Jay) Marturano is an independent financial advisor and earned his first securities license in October 1991. He is also a founder and Director of Service Wealth Management, an independent financial advisory firm. He provides clients with meaningful solutions to a wide range of financial matters including investments and savings, risk management, estate planning, and insurance needs analysis.
His commitment to personal service means that he helps clients realistically assess their current situation and define their goals, then he designs a comprehensive strategy to help achieve their objectives. He understands that every client's circumstances are unique and he tailors his planning to fit each client's needs. Helping clients find the right road to their financial destination gives him great satisfaction. Julian's independent status means he is able to draw from a broad universe of services, resources and tools that align with the client's goals; the clients needs always come first.
Julian specializes in retirement distribution planning by helping clients manage their assets and income needs during their retirement years. He recognizes that the strategies used to accumulate wealth are very different from those needed during retirement. The objective is to make sure clients do not outlive their retirement income.
Julian holds the Chartered Financial Consultant/Chartered Life Underwriter, as well as the Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow accreditations from the American College. He is also an accredited Certified Income Specialist through the Institute of Business and Finance. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
Julian and his wife, Bonnie, have two daughters, Julia and Sophia. He loves to ski and golf and in the summers you can find him living aboard his boat. Giving back to the community has always been important to him and he has served on the boards of several community organizations. Jay currently manages his clients charitable intent through a Donor Advised fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation.
